" I Love helping my clients fight diet culture and practice the philosophy of "all food fits"- in turn, creating a healthier body and mind."
Hi,
I’m Emily!
I feel strongly about meeting my clients wherever they are at and collaborating with them to improve their relationship with food and their overall health. It is my goal to help clients relearn to enjoy food and rid themselves of eating related judgment. I believe everybody is different and there’s no “one size fits all” plan – recovery is not linear and I am here to offer my clients personalized help every step of the way.

Specialities: Eating disorder recovery in adolescents and adults, HAES, intuitive eating, body image, diabetes management, prenatal nutrition, general health

When I am not seeing clients you can find me: either outdoors or doing puzzles with my kids, attempting to travel the world, reading a good thriller

Things that bring me joy: taking my dog for a walk while listening to a good podcast (likely true crime or a reality show recap – guilty pleasures!), showing my kids new places – anywhere from Hawaii to a new library, cooking with my family

Fun Fact: I am starting tennis lessons as a beginner at almost 40 years old – it is never too late to start a new hobby!

I hope to create a safe and relaxed space where my clients can learn more about themselves, quiet their inner critics and challenge beliefs that have shaped the ways in which they feed their bodies!

I then spent 4 years working at the Detroit Medical Center where I provided Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients in the ICU as well as high risk pregnancy patients. My move to Baltimore introduced me to working with patients with eating disorders at The Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt, working with both adolescents and adults in the inpatient and partial hospitalization programs. I moved on to work with eating disorder clients in recovery for The Humanistic Counseling Center in Cleveland, OH before taking time to be at home with
